Description

A delightful mix of salty pretzel crust, creamy filling, and a refreshing pineapple layer, perfect as a dessert or a side dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups pretzels, crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 package (3 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the crushed pretzels and melted butter in a large bowl, stirring to coat.
  3. Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes and let it cool.
  5. Mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Fold in the whipped topping gently and spread over the cooled crust.
  7. Combine the drained pineapple and instant pudding mix in a separate bowl.
  8. Stir in the water until the mixture thickens.
  9. Pour the pineapple mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For best results, make ahead and chill overnight. Use finely crushed pretzels for a better texture.
