- 2 cups pretzels, crushed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 package (3 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 1/2 cups water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the crushed pretzels and melted butter in a large bowl, stirring to coat.
- Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 10 minutes and let it cool.
- Mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped topping gently and spread over the cooled crust.
- Combine the drained pineapple and instant pudding mix in a separate bowl.
- Stir in the water until the mixture thickens.
- Pour the pineapple mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
For best results, make ahead and chill overnight. Use finely crushed pretzels for a better texture.
